I'm Back!

Yep - I'm back at last! My Dad moved from Woodland (near Sacramento) California, to a retirement village in San Jose. He didn't want to move......but my sisters and brother and i packed him up and away he went! He moved into a lovely and spacious apartment that provides 3 restaurant style meals a day and lots of activities and outings. His apartment is about a mile from my sister's house, and close to my brother's house as well. We also got a way cool "pill dispenser" that reminds him to take his pills, and if he doesn't, then it phones us to let us know....
We tried to set the apartment up as close to the way his old home was set up - we brought most of his furniture and knick knacks - consistency and familiarity is very important to him. Lo and Behold - he is having a ball! yay! SUCCESS. He loves the continuous activity and the interesting people to interact with!
