I was at the Santa Monica Promenade last weekend- it is sort of a 3 block open mall, with lots of odd vendors, street performers, etc. I came across an artist who was sculpting heads in air dry clay. It took about 20 minutes, and isn't exactly me - the eyes are set way too close, but it was fun and will make a good mold for a doll, i think! and for $20 - who could resist?

You would make a great doll!

I've never gone to the Promenade. The traffic is always so bad for me coming that way. But now . . . well, I guess I'm going to have to make the trip! :-) I think that's pretty cool for twenty bucks. (smiles)
Well done for getting the time to blog Connie!
:D
I knew you wouldn't be able to keep away - hope all is well, and not too stressful at the mo!
Love from across the pond.
:D
This head sculpture is great - what fun!
Hope all is going well with the show and that you're able to enjoy some off time for shopping and a little art.
hugs,
jackie
