BEAD SOUP PARTY SWAP

Lori Anderson  hosted a Bead Soup Party.  Participants were assigned a partner, and the partners swapped a focal piece, a clasp and various beads.  Then you were to take your swapped packet and make something out of it.  Today is the day to post what we received and what we made!  My partner was Terri Gauthier....she sent me much more than required and lots of fun party stuff, too!
These are all the goodies Terri sent me.....
Check out her blog to see what i sent her and what she made....it turned out fantastic! ....and check out the rest of her fabulous blog and art while you are there too....
......and this is what i made!
I made it while i was away, so i didn't have a drill and i wired the focal piece.
Click Here for links to all 85  participants..    Have fun!

Alas, I have been receiving a lot of anonymous spam on my blog, so i have been forced to add word verification.....i am so sorry for this inconvenience....

Cool way you wired the focal. Invention the mother of necessity can sometimes brings out a whole new design!

Wiring the focal is clever and ingenuis! This is pretty and striking!

I was thinking of drilling holes in the focal too but the wiring idea you came up with is brilliant! I had also thought of hammering the toggle clasp to distress it and antiquing it with paint...but being a novas beader and you being a professional I was sure you would come up with something really cool. And you did!

Pretty focal! I can see how it would be a challenge, but you rose to the occasion! Great wire wrapping solution since it didn't have a hole!
